This is a quite good chair for the price. It is comfortable enough and feels solid to sit in. It is easy to assemble if you follow their instructions carefully: put all 12 bolts into the seat and back *loosely* first, then set it on the floor before tightening the bolts. If you don't do it this way, the holes in the seat and back may not align correctly with the holes in the frame. A real socket wrench will also make it much easier than using the little wrench that is included the hardware package. The description says "Stackable up to four high", but this one (with arms) does not stack. The arms get in the way of that. The similar Basyx chair without arms apparently does stack.I purchased 8 of these chairs for our office reception area. Even though HON makes these chairs, but the name BASYX says it all. These are BASIC functional chairs, easy to assemble, reasonably priced, and nice looking. But the quality does not compare to HONS's $200+ chairs. I guess time will tell how long these will last, but for now they look nice and are comfortable. When assembling these chairs, I loosely screwed the top cushion first , and then the bottom. If you tightly screw the bottom seat first like the directions tell you to do, the top cushion will not line up with the holes. These chairs are great. The are sturdy a nice higher seat, sturdy arms to assist in getting up, good looking, reasonably priced and comfortable. I purchased 12 as dining room chairs. The only drawback is that they do not stack. They would be perfect if they did. What a great bang for the buck, I will be buying more! It was very helpful to read the previous reviews on this and then loosely assemble the complete chair before tightening all the bolts equally. Just like changing a tire, you never tighten all the lug nut until you tighten them all together. It arrived on time. Assembly was easy following the manufacturer's instructions (especially about 'half-tightening' screws before final assembly).I am disappointed with the quality of the product. I expected better from BASX-HON.But then, you get what you pay for. I will not buy these again!not very comfortable because back is to low. an don't have much padding wouldn't recommend buying this chair.get something betterA very nice chair for the money. But I almost sent it back as I was having trouble getting the holes to line up when attaching the seat back during assembly. I called the toll free customer support number on the seat cushion and the guy was of no help -- his only solution was to send the chairs back and they would replace them. Fortunately, I checked reviews and found that GeekyGuy advised not to tighten screws too much. I found that when the bolts were only finger tightened, there was enough wiggle room to align the seat back to the frame. Assembling the second chair was a breeze! There are only 12 bolts and I suggest getting them all in place before starting to tighten them. Once all are fully tightened the chaire is secure and comfortable. I would recommend this chair.Comfortable. Cant beat the price.comfortable chairGreat chairs!
