I'm a curvy woman in my early 50's and usually wear a size 8 and am a 36 C. I ordered the small and can't believe how flattering the dress looks on. It hides the negatives and accentuates the positives. I'm very pleased with the purchase overall.Needed a dress for a wedding, and wanted something cute but comfy. This is perfect for me and it’s very flattering! Would definitely recommend!I spent a long time looking for a 1950s inspired cocktail dress to wear for a play I’m in. I wear an 18 normally, sometimes a 16 if the dress flows nicely. I ordered a 3x because of what the chart said about bust size. I have a large chest. 44D. When I pulled it out it looked huge. But I tried it on and it fits pretty well. The criss cross cleavage area is kind of weird. This is the second Grace Karin dress I’ve purchased, mainly because they carry bigger sizes. But something is up with the stitching. Just feels weird. Like the pattern was cut wrong or something. Kinda big on bottom. I think it will work if I get a crinoline underneath. The worst is the fabric though. 95% polyester and it feels every bit of it. It’s heavy and I fear it’s gonna be hot.Nice style, thick durable material with some stretch but runs smallI Like this dress a lot, it looks very elegant with my black patent high heels, I'm 5'3" 140 # medium fits me perfect. The fabric it's very good not thin and it's stretchy.just perfect.I have 2 Grace Karin dresses (this and the yellow sleeveless) and both are absolutely perfect! The fabric is light and soft, and just 'moveable' enough that it's never pulling, binding, suffocating, etc,. At the same time, it hangs and flows beautifully! I've worn them in both warm and cold weather, and this fabric was completely comfortable in each climate!I've had the red one dry cleaned and have gentle washed and dried the yellow, both methods worked fine. If you're a dry cleaning person, go for it; if not ~ no problem! The colors are vast, and beautiful! As comfortable and as varied as this dress is, I will definitely buy more of them. I found the price really very reasonable, a well!Okay I really love the style of this dress but the sizing charts are weird. I’m fairly busty (about 36 ddd/f) so my bust measurement is 42. I went with a large because of the weight measurement chart where I was put in the large size. And all of my measurements put me in about a large or xl. I usually order medium but just had a baby so I just trusted the measurement chart. It’s super baggy ☹️. The 3/4 sleeves look like elephant skin and everything but the bust is baggy. I still want to love it so I’ll be pinning the waist in and hoping for the best. This is a lovely dress. The fabric is a silky, yet heavyweight knit, which was perfect for Fall/Winter. The sweetheart neckline is beautifully done and that style is hard to find other than in formalwear. A large-busted woman might find it to be too low. The skirty is swingy and fun to wear, especially if you are dancing. I am quite impressed, especially for the price.
